Some security features and functions not available on all models.
The Secure Print feature
requires users to enter a unique password at their PC, and then
reenter the same password at the bizhub control panel in order
to retrieve output. Requiring a password ensures that confidential
information remains private and that documents aren't
incorrectly taken away, either maliciously or by mistake.
Original prints can be clearly differentiated from copies with the woven pattern function. A woven pattern can be set with a word such as "Confidential"
which then appears on the copied document. For more comprehensive document tracking needs, the serial number
of the MFP, and date and time stamps can also be added. When used in combination with the audit log,
unauthorized use can be identified quickly and efficiently.
