Designed with speed, flexibility and cost performance to meet the demands of professional production print market, the bizhub PRO 1050e is an end-to-end solution for business looking to expand their opportunities through small lot and on-demand print production.
Professional-level Productivity
The bizhub PRO 1050e was built specifically to meet the productivity needs of print professionals. In addition to its 105ppm printing, copying and scanning speeds, it offers a warm-up time of less than 6 minutes and a first copy time of less than 3 seconds. It can handle large-scale output demands with its 9,000-sheet capacity. With the addition of on-the-fly toner changing to reduce downtime, ultrasound multi-sheet feed detectors at every input source to reduce job handling errors, air blowers to smooth paper flow and other convenient features, the bizhub PRO 1050e is particularly suited for high volume on-demand printing or small lot print jobs. This machine also stands out in terms of flexibility, being able to print paper sizes up to A3 wide, and weights of 40-300g/m² (Paper weights between 244-300 g/m² can only be fed from the PF-701 middle tray.Not all paper types can be used for weights between 40-49g/m².).
Off-set Print and Image Quality
Matching the bizhub PRO 1050e's speed is an equally impressive 600 x 600dpi resolution. Konica Minolta's patented polymerized toner features smaller, more uniform particles, which enable exceptionally sharp image quality for printing fine text and gradations. Emphasis has also been placed on precision page alignment, with print registration accurate to within 0.5mm even for two-sided prints.
Finishing
As a complete printing solution, the bizhub PRO 1050e comes with a range of optional finishing devices suited to a wide variety of job types. The FS-503 Finisher has an 8-position stapler with 100-sheet capacity and staple-clinch function. The FD-501 Folding Unit offers post-sheet insertion, hole punching and 6-position folding, including inline gate folding, an industry first. The SD-501 Saddle Stitcher also provides 50-sheet saddle stitching for booklets of up to 200 pages, and the PB-501 Perfect Binder can bind books of up to 300 sheets/600 pages (64g/m², up to 30mm thick).
Software Solutions
Empowering bizhub PRO 1050e users is a host of software applications, provided free of charge, for tailor-made end-to-end solutions. PageScope Job Spooler centralizes management of active printing jobs for all networked MFP's via a client PC. PageScope Direct Print allows drag-and-drop printing of PDF or TIFF files and allows basic image editing functions via a connected PC.
