Green Recognition

The European Union's WEEE (Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment) directive requires the collection and treatment of electronic & electrical equipment at the end of a product's life. This directive requires that manufacturers organise a 'take back supply chain' or register a collection scheme in every EU member state. Additionally, information must be provided on re-use and treatment for new electronic and electrical equipment within one year of placing it onto the market, in order to inform re-use centres, treatment and recycling facilities.
