Intro

The bizhub 362/282, the latest addition to our series of B/W bizhub MFPs, are ideal for workgroups and mid-sized offices. The bizhub 362/282 combines fast, high-quality scanning and output with a host of productivity-enhancing network features for securely sharing and managing data.

Share and Manage Data with Efficiency and Ease

By supporting a wide range of network protocols bizhub becomes the information hub of your business. Originals can be scanned at 70 opm or at 41 opm (at 200 dpi and 600 dpi resolution, respectively). Scanned data can be saved in the optional HDD or sent to a shared file on the network, an FTP server, or an e-mail account. Internet Fax comes standard on these machines. Super G3 Fax, IP Fax and PC Fax functions are also available with the optional fax kit.

Security and Data Management

To keep information assets safe, the 362/282 manages data with high-level security. Data is protected against unauthorised access with SSL encryption, user authentication, and the Secure Print function, the last of which begins printing only after the user enters a password at the control panel. Data from different applications can be combined into a single PDF file by using our optional PageScope Workware document management software.

Fast, Dependable Output

Copying and printing are as dependable in both productivity and quality as users have come to expect from the bizhub series. The 362/282 delivers 36 ppm and 28 ppm in B/W, with no downtime for reloading paper or replacing toner. The first print time is now just 4.8 seconds or less with the 362 and 5.3 seconds with the 282 from power-on. PCL 6 and PostScript® 3 emulation come standard, ensuring accurate reproduction at 600 × 600 dpi output. Konica Minolta's exclusive polymerized Simitri toner enhances image quality by providing sharper text lines and finer gradations.

Finishing and Paper Capacity

Finishing options include stapling (Staple Kit FS-530), folding and booklet making (Saddle Stitcher SD-507) and hole punching (Punch Unit PU-501). To obtain uninterrupted output runs on a large scale, the 362/282 features a standard paper capacity of 1,150 sheets (A5 to A3), which can be expanded to 3,650 sheets (A4) with the optional paper feed cabinets PC-407.

Universal Design

The 362/282 is accessible to all users with its user-oriented design. The control panel tilts 7, 26 or 43 degrees, and features easy-to-press buttons and an LCD screen with display enlargement capabilities. For high visibility, the machine’s body colour contrasts sharply with white paper. The paper feed cabinets can be opened and closed with either an overhand or underhand grip.
