Place the bizhub 160 / 161 series at the center of your workflow and choose among 4 types of model to meet your individual needs. The 160 with GDI controller, the 161 with PCL controller, and the 160f and 161f, both with fax. All four are advanced and durable desktop office units for consummate usability and superb functionality, as well as advanced networking solutions, all in one compact machine.

The parallel port and USB interfaces of the series provide easy PC connectivity, versatile printing options such as watermarks, and N-up printing to print up to a 16 page layout on one page. The 160 / 160f output 16 pages/min. at 300dpi, or 12 pages min. at 600dpi from your PC with GDI controller. The 161 / 161f with PCL controller output 16 pages/min. at a superb 600dpi x 600dpi image quality, and offer a RIP Once function for increased productivity.

The 160 / 161 series comes standard with a colour TWAIN scanner, allowing you to fully utilise the persuasive power of colour documents. Attach scanned TIFF or PDF documents to E-mail messages. Or, upload directly to an FTP Server for easy management and speedy distribtion. Benefit from the fast Automatic Document Feeder* (ADF) that holds, and continuously scans up to 50 originals.

The 160f /161f feature Super G3 Fax with standard JBIG Data, enabling approx. 3-second transmission over an ordinary phone line. Register up to 231 recipients, and fast faxing becomes easy. Enjoy convenient features such as Fax Forwarding*² and Broadcasting (sending to multiple destinations simultaneously). Or, Internet Fax*² to speed up workflow and lower costs.
